Stop haemorrhage on my brain caused by an AVM
"Fantastic care & attention, unbelievable stamina by Mr Porter to perform 2 x 10 hour operations, great onward support to get into a good rehab' unit.Appreciated his openness & honesty on how serious it was for my 2nd operation, prior to my first operation I was already in a coma before I got to hospital where Mr Porter was having been resuscitated several times I was transferred to Frenchay where Mr Porter was called in being THE only surgeon that could take on such a rare patient" the risk being so high.
I am alive today typing this purely because of his skills, treatment & care."
