PMDD
"I suffered with sever pms for 10 years. All throughout that time I was put on various antidepressants and tested for bipolar. I lost my ten year marriage and my children for a short time as my behaviours became extreme. I researched the internet and found my symptoms matched PMDD. My GP didn't understand my condition but I handed him a piece of paper with Malcolm's name. He agreed to refer me. 6 weeks after my consultation with Malcolm, I had my ovaries removed. That was in November 2018. I cannot tell you how immediate the effects were, I was finally back to myself. I know people say 'he saved my life' but Malcolm honestly did. Without him listening to me and conducting the operation I can truly say that I would not be here now. Menopause diagnosed
"I had suffered PMS for all my adult life, and took the pill to control symptoms. My GP wanted to take me off the pill to "see if I was menopausal". I'd had a 3 year period of chronic health, followed by major surgery, so wasnt ready for the risk of PMS symptoms returning,One GP agreed to refer me to Mr Dickson's clinic. He know my medical history and that of my mother (breast cancer). A comforatable chat followed by an internal examination, as I was also having vaginal pain following uclers connected with my chronic illness. Within moments he explained the pain was due to atrophy of the muscles, which was becuase I had gone through the menopause. i didnt need any blood tests to diagnose. He prescribed HRT and topiclal creams
Before seeing Dr Dickson, I was at my wits end. My physcial and mental health, as well as my libido was restored by Dr Dickson"

Hysterectomy with bilateral salpingectomy
"This man saved my life! At the age of 38, I had had issues with my hormones and mood since I was in my early teens and tried various treatment options over the years for PMS, depression, anxiety, Post Natal Depression etc explored through the GP that had failed, I really was at a loss. After a very scary incident while going through an extremely bad point, I researched a lot and found I had all but one of the classic PMDD symptoms and so went back to the GP. They had never heard of it and were not interested in looking into it even though I had all the information with me. I joined some Facebook groups, heard about this amazing man and contacted Karen, Mr Dickson's secretary pleading for an appointment, it was the best thing I ever did! I eventually had surgery for PMDD and can truly say it saved my life, my family and my relationship. I will be forever grateful! x" posted on Wednesday 27th of July 2022
