Patient reviews for Dr Andrew Johnson

Hashimoto's Thyroiditis
"I was delighted to have found Dr Johnson who listened caringly to my thyroid problem. I hadn't felt well since its onset some 5 years ago and in my heart, knew that I should feel better than I do. In spite of seeing a couple of other Endocrinologists, I still didn't feel good and hadn't been offered an alternative treatment although I knew there were other options. Dr Johnson prescribed Armour, which I am about to start taking - I am filled with positivity for a better and more normal life!! I would highly recommend an appointment with this sympathetic and very knowledgeable doctor. Don't ever give up, if you don't feel well, keep fighting and follow your heart until you find the answer. Thyroiditis can be totally debilitating."

Recommended
"Can highly recommend. Felt extremely unwell on Levothyroxine for years. Saw many top endocrinologists with no improvement or interest in offering me anything other than the medication i was on which didnt allieviate my awful hypo symptoms. Dr Johnson listened, changed my prescription and feel much better!"

Autoimmune thyroiditis
"I started seeing Andrew in August 2015 after a 4year battle with raised TPO anitbody tests and raised TSH and a poor response to levothyroxine. Andrew recommended a trial of armour and I've never looked back. Andre and his wife Sally are both lovely and go above and beyond the role of a consultant, ringing in the evening to check how I am and to discuss medication. Highly recommended."
